Sanctuary Cap Cana will reopen its doors on January 20 following extensive renovations to its facilities. The 5-star resort is one of the most prestigious in Punta Cana, offering discerning travelers a true taste of luxury and Caribbean hospitality. Its renovation comes at a time when countless resorts are preparing for a busy 2023, which is expected to be the best on record for the travel industry.

According to Playa Hotels & Resorts, the hospitality firm that owns Sanctuary Cap Cana, the luxury all-inclusive resort is set to welcome its first guests on January 20. The property suffered extensive damage last September when hurricane Fiona forced the resort to close. Following the destructive storm – the worst the tropical island had seen for years – the resort underwent extensive renovations to prepare it for future guests.

Sanctuary Cap Cana is a 5-star resort situated on the private shore in Juanillo Beach, where guests can soak in some of the finest tropical views: sun, sea, and white-sand beach merge for an unforgettable Caribbean experience.  It’s also an adults-only property, making it the perfect choice for travelers looking for privacy and comfort.

Sanctuary Cap Cana was among the many properties on the eastern coast of the Dominican Republic and in Punta Cana that were severely damaged by hurricane Fiona last September. But for the 5-star resort, the re-opening is even more significant and will allow the property to offer guests unparalleled customer service and luxurious amenities.
