Two Dominican Republic Resorts Among Best In Caribbean, According To Readers’ Choice Awards

Two Dominican Republic resorts, Eden Roc Cap Cana and Campo Resorts & Villas, have been ranked as some of the top Caribbean resorts by the Readers’ Choice Awards 2022. The luxurious 5-star resorts offer some of the most refined experiences for discerning travelers and a range of exclusive services and amenities. The properties have already received several other prestigious awards, firmly placing them in the spotlight as some of the region’s best resorts for luxury travel.

Two prestigious 5-star resorts in the Dominican Republic were ranked among the best in the Caribbean in this year’s editions of the Readers’ Choice Awards by the Condé Nast Traveler magazine. The renowned publication is a popular source of inspiration for discerning travelers seeking high-end experiences in comfort and luxury.

In this year’s ranking edition, Eden Roc Cap Cana was ranked the 15th-best resort in the Caribbean, whereas Casa de Campo, located in La Romana, was ranked the 23rd-best resort in the region. The prestigious accolades place both resorts as some of the best in the country, offering travelers a range of lavish experiences and refined luxury.

The comprehensive rankings are based on more than 200,000 online voter submissions and reflect general travel trends in the luxury travel market. In 2023, travelers will increasingly seek bold and unique stays, opting for properties that allow for customizable experiences.

Whilst Eden Roc Cap Cana and Casa de Campo are some of the finest Dominican properties. They are far from being the only ones to be awarded a prestigious title. Several other Punta Cana resorts, including Ziva and Zilara Cap Cana, were recently chosen as the best overall all-inclusive in the country.

Situated in a quiet and exclusive stretch of beach in Punta Cana, Eden Roc at Cap Cana is all about privacy and getting away from it all. The resort’s 65 suites are elegantly designed, and around half of all rooms come with a private pool, whereas the remaining suites offer beachside access. Condé Nast’s most recent publication also took note of the property’s newly inaugurated four Ocean Villas, which offer guests a private terrace, infinity pool, and jacuzzi, as well as exclusive in-room spa amenities. Despite having only 65 suites, guests can enjoy three fine-dining restaurants on the property, as well as three bars.

Casa de Campo 

Located in the popular resort city of La Romana, Casa de Campo is one of the oldest resorts in the Caribbean and has accumulated a growing prestige over the years. The 5-star luxury resort is best known for its award-winning golf courses, such as the Teeth of the Dog. The property is also renowned for its fine dining options and other amenities.

Casa de Campo is currently undergoing a massive renovation to boost the resort’s already excellent luxury credentials. Once complete, the multi-million makeover will add dozens of new rooms to the property, as well as several exclusive amenities, including one of the country’s largest spas.
