One of the Dominican Republic’s top-rated luxury resorts, Sanctuary Cap Cana, is debuting in Marriott’s The Luxury Collection brand. The globally-recognized status means that the resort will join several other exclusive properties around the world that are known to provide some of the highest levels of luxury.
The all-inclusive 5-star resort, which has undergone extensive renovations to bolster its luxury credentials, is set to join The Luxury Collection By Marriott in just a few days. The resort was specifically chosen to join the brand because of its superior service, excellent location, and unmatched amenities.
Sanctuary Cap Cana’s management team has been busy preparing to become a part of the renowned hotel class, which involves providing world-class travel experiences to demanding travelers. “We feel a great responsibility, and everyone at Sanctuary Cap Cana is ready to take on this challenge”, according to Roger Belletti, the resort’s general manager.
It’s also great news for Marriott, as Sanctuary Cap Cana will be the first-ever all-inclusive resort to feature in the Luxury Collection brand. It’s also the first property in the Dominican Republic to join the exclusive collection of 123 iconic hotels around the globe. The hotel’s addition means more variety for travelers, who will be able to enjoy some of the Caribbean’s top beaches and tropical waters.
September 15th marks a turning point for Sanctuary Cap Cana, putting it on the list of some of the world’s most renowned properties. The change is significant, as it will attract a new segment of travelers to visit Punta Cana. The bar is now set high for Sanctuary Cap Cana, which will have to conform to even higher standards of comfort.
The Luxury Collection By Marriott is a collection of leading resorts around the world. Centered on providing guests with utmost luxury and unforgettable travel experiences, properties in the select brand are carefully chosen to highlight unique destinations worldwide. Sanctuary Cap Cana was chosen to join the Luxury Collection thanks to its excellent track record and exclusive amenities, which go beyond what other resorts typically offer.
The exciting news comes at a time when plenty of new hotels are opening up in the Dominican Republic. Aside from Punta Cana, visitors can head to Miches, a growing ecotourism destination that is already home to several resorts. Compared to Punta Cana, it offers more secluded nature, quieter beaches, and a laid-back atmosphere which is ideal for adventurous travelers or those looking for an original destination.
