This week, Four Seasons, a Canada-based luxury hotel and resort chain, became the latest multinational to reveal new plans for a resort in Miches, in the northeastern Dominican Republic.

Four Seasons Resort and Residences is a 60-acre development that will be set along the pristine white sands of Playa Esmeralda. The massive project is already seeing significant progress, with construction work set to last several years.

According to executives, the lavish resort is expected to be inaugurated sometime in 2026. Four Seasons is launching a unique concept, blending luxury hospitality with long-term living options.

The multi-use property will boast 95 resort-style suites featuring a modernist tropical design by Brazilian architect Isay Weinfeld. The new undertaking will also include 25 residences for private use, with each unit featuring between three and four bedrooms.

The land surrounding the massive property offers breathtaking views of Miches’ scenic hills and lush rainforests, not to mention its stunning virgin beaches and turquoise waters. Each guest will be able to enjoy some of the most privileged views in the region, as well as a comprehensive set of luxurious amenities.
