The super-popular Paradisus Punta Cana, part of the exclusive Melia Paradisus brand, has announced it will undergo a mammoth renovation and expansion to transform itself into Punta Cana’s premier mega-hotel.
This comes after the Paradisus Palma Real Golf & Spa Resort, a part of the same famous Melia brand, reopened after similar renovations in 2022.
In fact, the fantastic response to that renovation has spurred Melia to think even bigger. While the Paradisus Palma Real Golf & Spa Resort received an impressive $58 million for its rejuvenation, the Paradisus Punta Cana is planning to spend over $256 million.
This huge investment, as well as the promise of modernized design, an enhanced culinary offering, as well as an even more diverse catalog of activities and amenities, will no doubt have travelers excited.
With that being said, a stay at the new mega-hotel will not be possible until mid-2026, when construction is expected to be complete.
