Secrets Cap Cana, an adults-only luxury 5-star all-inclusive resort in Punta Cana, is the first property in the Dominican Republic to be awarded Five Diamond AAA certification. The high standards required by the prestigious organization are notoriously hard to meet, but Secrets Cap Cana is one of the few resorts to make the cut.
This isn’t the first time the renowned property is awarded for its high-quality service, amenities, and luxury. Secrets Cap Cana is one of the highest-rated resorts in Punta Cana, and the recent 5-diamond AAA certification places it among the top Caribbean all-inclusive properties.
The 5-diamond certification is handed out by the American Automobile Association (AAA), which, despite its name, is recognized as one of the leading hospitality guides worldwide. More than 27,000 resorts across the globe are part of the association, whose detail-oriented professional reviewers carefully inspect each property.
In order to obtain a 5-diamond rating, hotels and resorts must meet extremely high industry standards, including offering luxurious facilities and amenities and top-notch personalized customer service, among other criteria. Overall, AAA-Approved certification requires meeting 27 stringent requirements.
Secrets Cap Cana is thrilled to be the first all-inclusive resort in the Dominican Republic to feature on the exclusive list of 5-diamond properties. According to Lionel Gómez, the resort’s general manager, “we deliver excellent service and warmth to the thousands of guests that stay with us each year, and we try to give them the best vacation possible,” the executive said in an interview.
