Meliá Hotels International announced this week that Paradisus Palma Real has fully re-opened in Punta Cana after undergoing a massive $40 million makeover. The resort had been closed for some time in order to carry out extensive improvements to the property’s facilities, adding new amenities and improving the guest experience. The resort, one of the largest in the area, is fully operational ahead of the record-breaking winter season.
All of the property’s 596 suites have received a facelift thanks to the renovation, adding modern touches to an already excellent resort. Paradisus Palma Real now also features 58 swim-up suites for discerning travelers, as well as several new and improved adults-only areas. Meanwhile, the resort’s other facilities – including a wide range of fine-dining options as well as a conventions area – have also received new upgrades.
