The leading resort destination in the Dominican Republic welcomes over 70% of the country’s travelers, and with that number set to grow further, new resorts are needed to accommodate demand.

That’s why HM Hotels recently decided to renovate two of its Punta Cana properties to further elevate the guest experience. The properties, which used to operate under the whala!hotels brand, have undergone extensive renovations to prepare them for relaunching under the new HM brand.

The first of the two properties, HM Bávaro Beach, will be a 50-room boutique-style resort featuring gorgeous views of the Caribbean Sea. The adults-only property is designed to give guests direct access to Punta Cana’s most famous beach, Bávaro, where they can enjoy a refreshing dip in the sea as well as an endless array of outdoor activities.

The rebranded property also boasts lavish suites that are equipped with all the necessary amenities for a paradisiacal getaway. Two outdoor pools – including a rooftop one with views to the sea – and an Italian-inspired eatery complete the experience at one of Punta Cana’s most intimate properties.
