The renowned American hospitality firm AMR is launching a new luxury resort near Punta Cana this November. The 520-suite Dreams Flora & Spa is the company’s latest addition to its catalog of premium resorts in the Caribbean country. Offering a range of luxurious services and tropical hospitality, the resort is ideal for families as well as couples.
Dreams Flora Resort & Spa is situated on a palm-tree-lined beach in the town of Cabeza de Toro, not far from Punta Cana, the Dominican Republic’s top resort destination. Rich in tropical nature, the resort is well-integrated into the area’s lush surroundings, offering a retreat from packed beaches.
A quiet oasis in the tropics, Dreams Flora Resort & Spa has stunning ocean views and a paradise-like setting. Service-wise, guests can expect top-notch hospitality and a wide selection of premium services from check-in until departure. Thanks to the Unlimited Luxury concept, visitors can enjoy 24-hour room service, unlimited dining, and drinks from six bars and lounges, as well as pool and beach wait service.
The resort’s rooms are as impressive as its customer-oriented service; with 7 room categories available, guests can choose between different levels of luxury and comfort. The 500-square-foot Deluxe Room is the most affordable option starting at $100 per night and features a garden view. Meanwhile, the more lavish Junior Suites are slightly larger, have pool views, and start at $125 per night. All rooms come with traditional amenities and are decorated in fresh, bright colors.
The hotel offers a range of luxurious amenities to enjoy for the ultimate Caribbean getaway. Families will certainly look forward to the resort’s exclusive waterpark, as well as four pools (one is adults-only!). Guests are encouraged to try out different aquatic activities in the nearby sea, such as scuba diving and fishing, which the resort routinely organizes. Entertainment-wise, visitors can soak up the local flavor with different day and night time options including big screen movies and dance classes.
As if the resort’s pools weren’t enough, then the nearby Spa by Pevonia is sure to help guests fully unwind thanks to its premium selection of treatments from hydrotherapy to Swedish saunas. Or why not kick up the adrenaline at the hotel’s fitness center featuring Nordic tracks and cross trainers.
After a day of relaxation, guests won’t go hungry at the new resort thanks to eight different restaurants with everything from casual burgers to refined French flavors. Meanwhile, poolside loungers can enjoy the Manatees swim-up bar and sip on the finest Caribbean-inspired cocktails whilst admiring the adjacent tropical sea. The resort also offers guests an exclusive romantic dining experience, an upgrade that comes with an intimate beachside dining experience for two.
Punta Cana Is Seeing A Hotel Boom
With ever-increasing traveler numbers in the Dominican Republic, Punta Cana is seeing a resurging hotel scene. Leading hospitality firms including AMR are rethinking the all-inclusive resort model by offering a growing array of premium and customizable services. Over the course of this year, several new hotels are opening up in the area, adding several hundred rooms to the area’s inventory, with more to follow next year.
Meliá is also jumping on the bandwagon, launching a new all-inclusive concept with its flagship Falcon’s Resorts by Meliá with innovative entertainment, shopping, and dining options bundled into one package. The ambitious project will also see the construction of the Caribbean’s first major theme park, Kathmandu Park, slated to open this December and has a maximum capacity of over 4000 guests per day. Once complete, the new investments will transform Punta Cana into a leading resort and entertainment destination in the Caribbean.
