The new concept, known as resortainent, is a blend that mixes traditional hotel comfort and relaxation with some out-of-the-box entertainment options to keep guests occupied day and night. The crown jewel of the new development is Katmandu Park, the first theme park of its kind to open in the Caribbean.
The massive amusement park is set to open its doors shortly, on March 15, ushering in a new era for Punta Cana and the Dominican Republic. The massive new theme park can accommodate thousands of visitors per day and will mostly focus on attracting families, although adults too will find enjoyment in the park’s many amenities.
Here’s What Travelers Can Expect From The New Resort
Immersive entertainment, private beach access, and world-class dining are just a few of the new amenities guests can look forward to at Falcon’s Resort. The 5-star luxury property is all about interactivity and customization, offering travelers a range of services to make their trip unforgettable.

Kathmandu Park – The Caribbean’s First Theme Park
Aside from upscale amenities and stunning rooms, guests will also be able to access Katmandu Park, a major new theme park and the first of its kind in the region. The cutting-edge park has been designed by Orlando-based Falcon’s Beyond, a leading provider of theme parks around the world.
The new theme park will house several high-tech immersive rides, such as the Voyage of the Fathom Wanderer, the world’s first Suspended Theater attraction, as well as the Legend of the Desiderata, a 4-D dark ride attraction. Visitors will fund abundant decorations and mystical themes throughout the expansive park, providing for a magical and otherworldly experience.
Punta Cana visitors can purchase entrance tickets to the new theme park, which start at $120 for adults and $85 for children. VIP tickets and other packages are also available.
