As of this week, Spanish hospitality brand Melia Hotels International are set to offer travellers fantastic discounts on more than 250 hotels worldwide – including their resorts in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. This offer comes as part of Melia’s Wonder Week: until June 13th, the hotel chain will give travellers up to 40% off international bookings made in 2022, with free cancellation. Travellers who are members of the Melia Rewards loyalty program will benefit even further from the offer, as it will allow them to accumulate more points for future bookings. They will also receive a guaranteed 25% discount on all reservations with participating hotels.
Currently, there are five Melia hotels and resorts operating in Punta Cana: The Paradisus Grand Cana, the Melia Caribe Beach Resort, the Melia Punta Cana Beach Adults Only Inclusive Resort, the Paradisus Palma Real Golf and Spa Resort and the Reserve at Paradisus Palma Real. All five locations offer travellers up to 30% off bookings over the next 5 days. The Wonder Week discounts also take family travel into consideration, with four out of five Melia hotels in Punta Cana offering a ‘first child free’ discount.
This year, Melia has renovated several of its most popular resorts across the Dominican Republic, including its Paradisus Punta Cana hotels: Both the Paradisus Punta Cana Resort and the Paradisus Palma Real, a 5-star luxury hotel, are set to be made over with room upgrades and added features, valued at over USD $150 million.
Known as two of the most popular hotels for a summer getaway, the Paradisus Punta Cana Resort and Palma Real have several amenities lined up to entertain the entire family.
The resorts are first and foremost aware that they are popular with families who have children under the age of 10, so they offer books and DVDs to keep little ones entertained.
There are also plenty of outdoor play opportunities and activities, as well as kid-friendly evening entertainment and a colossal pool complete with a waterslide. Adults are also invited to take a break and relax with a swim-up bar, and indulge in spa facilities including massage, makeup services and manicures.
The Paradisus Palma Real Golf and Spa Resort is also an excellent option for travellers looking for an active, yet relaxing stay in Punta Cana. Offering travellers an exclusive golf course, as well as casino and gambling services, personal trainers and a nightclub, there is something for everyone at this Melia destination.
For travellers looking for an unforgettable vacation with family or friends, the Melia Caribe is the best choice: situated alongside the stunning white sands and turquoise waters of Bavaro Beach, the resort offers the choice of 8 different eateries, as well as bicycle rental, yoga classes, a tennis court and an indoor play area for children. There are also several entertainment options on-site, ranging from Vaudeville shows to a children’s club.
Solo travellers or couples looking for a luxurious getaway should look no further than Melia Punta Cana Beach Adults Only Inclusive Resort – set with an exclusive YHI Spa, a personalised fitness centre, and a ‘wellbeing 360 experience’, this destination offers travellers the chance to relax and unwind in a child-free environment. Visitors are free to choose from several different room styles, from deluxe rooms with views of the lush garden, to beach-facing premium rooms.
There are also suite options in the ‘Level’ section of the hotel, where guests can expect exclusive hospitality and culinary experiences. As the discount ends on June 13th, travellers who are desperate to soak up the Dominican sun are encouraged to make a booking as soon as possible, before the offer ends.
