Hotel Gran Ventana In Puerto Plata Rated As One Of The Top 25 All Inclusive Hotels In The Caribbean

In the recent 2022 edition of the Traveller’s TripAdvisor Choice Awards, the Gran Ventana Beach Resort was placed on a list of the “Top 25 best all-inclusive hotels in the Caribbean”. The hotel is part of the popular Puerto Plata chain ‘Victoria Hotels’, led by Roberto Casoni, and was placed at position 21 for the best hotel in the region.

This year, only 3 Dominican hotels entered this exclusive list, with Gran Ventana representing the entirety of Puerto Plata’s hotels and resorts.

It is thought that the resort’s inclusion on the list will put it in competition with several other prestigious hotel brands operating throughout the Dominican Republic, including Melia, Sandals, Cap Maison Resort & Spa, Zoetry, Club Med and Keyonna Beach Resort.

The other Dominican hotels found on the list are Zoetry Agua Punta Cana by AMR Collection (ranking at number 13), and the Radisson Blue Punta Cana All-Inclusive Resort (ranking at number 18).

The general manager of Gran Ventana Beach Resort, Oscar Lora, was elated at the news: “We are very happy to have entered the list of the 25 best all-inclusive hotels in the Caribbean…” The ranking of the property on the list comes after the hotel was found to have incredible customer service, resulting in 40% of customers returning to stay again.

The hotel is located on Playa Dorada beach on the northern coast of the Dominican Republic and is known for being ‘a beachfront playground with a splash of local charm’.

The proximity to the beach allows guests to participate in kayaking, snorkelling and scuba diving, as well as exploring the local bars and eateries – all within walking distance.
